Hello and welcome to my Radio Shack.  My main hobby is that of Amateur Radio and I am a member of the Radio Society of Great Britain.  I became interested in amateur radio back in my school days, so now it could be said that I'm quite an "old ham"!

I'm also a member of Queen's Radio Club, (GI3LLQ and GI8FQB) and with the club have participated in many field trips.  The club has enjoyed considerable success, especially in the VHF National Field Days, where in 1994 , 1995 and 1997 we were the leading Northern Ireland contest station in the restricted section of VHF National Field Day.
