In 2001, David and I were involved with an amateur local community radio station, which had a short-term licence to broadcast from 24th November to 21 December 2001.  David was the station's Chief Engineer and I was its Prayer Co-ordinator.  The station, founded on a Christian ethos, was run entirely by enthusiastic Christian volunteers on a 'not-for-profit' basis.  The station's mission was to reflect God's love, and encourage and build up the whole community in and around the Banbridge area.

As well as engineering, David also hosted his own weekly radio programme (which I had the pleasure of producing). The programme, called "Rejoice", aired on Sunday mornings from 10.00am to 12 noon.  We included contemporary and traditional Christian music, inspirational thoughts and readings, as well as Bible readings.  It was great fun to produce and we hope that all the folk who tuned in were both entertained, blessed and given something to think about by the programme.
